Q: Will this kit work on chrome wheels?
A: This kit is not recommended for chrome wheels or plastic covers. This kit is designed for damaged metal (aluminum, alloy, steel, and mixed metals) wheel surfaces that suffered curbside rash, corrosion, rust, pitting, scuffs, dents and scratches.
Q: Can I use a different color paint than the silver color supplied in the kit?
A: Definitely. You may use any color paint that you want. Permatex recommends paint that is specifically designed for wheel covering. If your goal is to match the current color of the wheel you should test any paint before applying to wheel.
