Q: Can I test the defogger immediately or do I have to wait the recommended 24 hours?
A: You can test your repair with a multimeter only after the grid repair has dried or the tab adhesive has cured. It is recommended, however, to wait a full 24 hours before you turn on the defogger. This gives the repair the best chance to cure.
Q: What do I do if I’ve followed the instructions explicitly and the defogger grid still will not work?
A: Make sure that all grid lines run continuously and that there are no scratches or breaks. If you still are unable to troubleshoot the problem please consult a car care professional or an auto glass specialist.
